Default Ported and polished 2.0 litre blacktop head. Piper + Kent Zetec camshafts + pulleys.

I have the following items for sale as I need to raise some funds for some parts I have my eye on.

Ported and polished 2.0 cylinder head - £250

This was originally on Big_Ad's (Adam Moran) Turbo Focus which was built by Chris Todd when he was at Power Engineering. The porting and polishing work was carried out on PE's behalf by Cylinder Head Developments and went on to help Big_Ad produce 425bhp from the first incarnation of his Zetec Turbo. I've spoken to Ad about this cylinder head and his bill for the work done to this was into 4 figures!

It will come with a full set of valvetrain but currently isn't built up - I would advise getting the head skimmed before fitting to your own engine as a matter of routine but I can, if requested (and at extra cost), have the head skimmed and rebuild it with valvetrain. It will NOT come with any cams or pulleys. This cylinder head will fit both 1.8 and 2.0 litre engines (I have had it fitted to my 1.8 ) but will lower the compression slightly if fitted to a 1.8 block due to the slighly enlarged chamber area but I still achieved 150bhp with it on a naturally aspirated 1.8 despite this.

Piper 'Ultimate Road' camshafts - £200

http://www.pipercams.co.uk/pipercams...pid=FOC20BP285

These have been removed from my 150bhp 1.8 engine as I will not need them on my new build. They were originally fitted to a 200bhp NA Focus and, up until recently, were going to be a key part of my engine as I aim for 200bhp. These are a fantastic set of cams that REALLY give the Focus the top end grunt it deserves, puling very strongly from 3.5k onwards. Still in extremely good condition with minimal wear they did less than a year's mileage in my engine before I took the car off the road. I managed to achieve 150bhp with these fitted in a 1.8 (I gained 10bhp simply by getting a set of vernier pulleys fitted and set up properly on the dyno but was down on power due to a 2.0 litre head on a 1.8 block).

Turbosport Zetec Vernier Pulleys - £75

Originally bought off of eBay for £130 they were fitted at the same time as my Piper cams and were more than good enough for the job despite being cheaper than the equivalent Piper/Kent items. Anodised in red these will fit both Blacktop and Silvertop Zetec engines. Again these have done less than a year on my engine so are in very good condition.

The prices above do NOT include postage and I am NOT prepared to post the cylinder head as it is FAR too heavy, valuable and fragile to post (No matter how well I could package it up I wouldn't trust any of the gasket surfaces not to get marked during transit) so, I'll say it again, the cylinder head is COLLECTION ONLY. IF someone wants to buy the cylinder head and the Piper cams together - the cylinder head is currently shimmed up for the Piper cams so I would recommend they are bought together - then I will do both of them for £400 collected - if the buyer wants the vernier pulleys as well then I'll do the head, cams and pulleys for £450.

I also have

Kent 'Sport' camshafts - £180

http://www.kentcams.com/product/prod...7&ModEngID=216

I bought these thinking I would eventually sling them in my Focus ESP for a bit of fun just to give it a bit of poke but have decided to cash in on them instead. These are a milder cam that will give a nice performance boost across the full rev range without the other associated problems of 'wilder' camshafts (lumpy idle, purely top end power band). I do not know the mileage of these but looking at them they have VERY LITTLE wear on them so I would say they haven't done many miles. These will fit both 1.8 and 2.0 litre engines without needing to upgrade anything else to fit them. Price does not include postage but be aware they are pretty heavy and will be shipped with insurance to cover their value.

1.8/2.0 litre Focus Sport Cat - £50

Designed to fit in place of the very restrictive standard catalytic convertor. Has 2 lambda holes so you may need to find a suitable bolt to fit the lower hole if you have a pre-facelift car - any hardware shop should be able to help you with this for pennies. All the benefits of a decat (increased performance) without having to worry about MoT emission tests, VOSA stop checks or the police because you have a noisey exhaust. Price does not include postage and packing - it's a fairly bulky and heavy item.

Pictured here next to the standard cat.

Focus Central Under-drive pulleys - £40

http://focus.c-f-m.com/cfm2pcaluminu...csvtst170.aspx

http://www.pumaspeed.co.uk/showdetai...?productID=538

2 replacement lightweight pulleys which replace the standard, heavy cast iron water pump and crank pulleys. Links shown illustrate the CFM ones as stocked by Pumaspeed which are exactly the same as CFM bought out the product line for Focus Central around 2006 and Pumaspeed are the sole importers of their gear in the UK I believe. These reduce the amount of load on the engine by lightening the crank and water pump pulleys so there is more power used by the engine to drive the wheels of the car. They also allow the car to 'rev' a LOT more freely, I certainly noticed these made heel-and-toe shifting a lot easier as the engine was more responsive to taps of the throttle pedal. They are anodised in red but have some cosmetic marks on them - these are purely cosmetic on the face of the pulleys and do not affect their fitting, balance or operation. I was going to get the marks blended out but the engineer I asked to do it told me there was no need. Despite the cosmetic issue you won't see the damage with the pulleys fitted but you will definitely notice the performance difference.

Price doesn't include postage but this won't be much as they weigh absolutely naff all (the jiffy bag they will be sent in will weight more)
