What car? Could be a bunged up jet (clear with a pin) or the hose has popped off the squirter. Dismantle, replace, fix. Job done.

Hose comes off behind the C pillar, pull the plastic trim off and check in there.

it will but if you hold the button on long enough you'll prob see it starting to leak as paul says though its more than likely behind the drivers side c panel trim. 5 min fix at tops

I had same problem few weeks back.I heard the scoosh sound but no water. Took off trim next to rear right(head height),and I had a lovely stream of blue pissin down over the air bag gadget.

You need to start at the back and work your way down the car until you find where it's become disconnected. It could have come adrift somewhere where the water can't be seen. It will be leaking somewhere.

Going to have a quick look now a thought there was only 3 joins, 1 at the nozzile which is ok cause had that out, 1 in the panel behind the driver and 1 on the pump? No water comes out under the car!!!
