hi all im new to the site so please be patient, i own a pre facelift mondeo 1.8 lx which needed an engine swop due to excessive oil burning so decided on the 2.0 litre instead which runs great but ive noticed that the temperature gauge doesnt read true, when the car has been run for a while and stationary the gauge reads just below half and engine idles at 900 rpm until you start to drive when the gauge drops to nothing and idles well over 1000 rpm like if the engine was started from cold, i have already changed the temp sensor but to no difference so im now lost if anybody can shed some light on what to do next id be grateful as im now getting concerned, thanks to all in advance
