Is the Mondeo ST220 engine a replacement for the ST200 or are there other parts that will need changing, like the Controller, sensors any information gratefully received.

The ST220 is a 3.0 (Duratec 30) whilst the ST200 is a 2.5 (Duratec 25). Essentially the same, but larger. What are you trying to do?

My ST200 Has big ends gone, so I am thinking about fitting an ST220 which apparently has some refinements to the sump that help protect the possibility of oil starvation and less likely to big end trouble.
Plus, I am more likely to find a good 220 engine than a 200 that may be on it's way out.

Are you planning on swapping the entire engine over then, or interchanging parts between the two engines?

The "3.0 Swap" is rather well documented on contour.org, well worth a look on there

sorry, I am planning on using the whole engine, but a bit concerned about the engine management.
