Default st200 water pump????

hey people, i just picked up an st200 yesterday and am over the moon with it. ive heard they suffer waterpump issues with the early plastic impeller ones and am not sure if its got the uprated metal item, is there an easy way to check without removing it like a different part number or visual different in the casing or something. any help appreiated cheers

The metal pump that I fitted had a gold pulley while the original one was black.

dead easy to change, they are under the black plastic IMRC cover(has 2.5v6 bla bla written on it), near the battery, remove the cover and then the belt, undo the 8 or so bolts some will be long remember where they came from!
remove the pump, the scrape off the old gasket, then to refit reverse the above!

lifting the battery out will give you a little extra room to work, but you can do it without removing the battery if you don't have your radio code etc...
