Hi I have just bought an XR2 off a garage that it went in for mot and the owner couldnt afford to have the welding done (1 sill driver side, nothing else) the rest is a bit shabby but with a new wing 2 new doors and a blow over it will be good, has awful 3 spokes that will be binned and a set of adjustable shocks. and i got it for a grand old price of £50
Now the hunt is on for RS turbo items, I think I can lay my hand on an engine,
I have been told that i need a series 1 loom as its easier?
will the escort RS gear box fit?
what size wheels do I need to get escos brakes under front and back and will they go on?
where can I get a thin rad fan?
what do people do with insuring them??
anyone with one know exactly how much I have to cut out of the front beam for the exhaust?
sorry about the 20 questions just intreaged to see if anyone can help me out?
