I am seriously thinking of buying a new Fiesta ST, what are you views on the car? I have drove a pre face lift ST on a test drive and I was impressed. I like the new lights, not sure if everyone does though???

The new lights kind of grow on you. I wasnt sure to start with but I think they look Ok now.

The St150 is a nice car, and theres a lot of stuff coming out for it now too.

I think Laura's Fiesta is up to about the 170bhp mark now.

If you happen to be down Northants way next saturday, we have a rolling road session going on and a few St150s will be there.

What upgrades are on the market now?? Other than the usual air filters.
I saw a face lift ST in red and fell in love, I think the lights only suit the ST and Zetec S, they look a bit out of place on the lesser models.

Not sure if there is a chip available yet, Im not too clued up on the Fiestas, but reading Lauras info, she has had:

Custom made K&N filter- using:ST170 filter, and Samco hose--Air feeds--Blue Magnecor leads--Milltek full sytem, 4-2-1 manifold- de cat- and exhaust-

hi mate i would say that Fez ST is a great car

as for available mods theres exhaust systems, induction kits, cams,
bluefin and soon the cosworth D-Power kits will be out hopefully

I think i will go for the metal black one with just the white stripes down the side of the car. Do they handle well? I did not get a chance to throw it round any courners on the test drive. Also do the facelifts come with ESP as standard and is it worth having?

no standard esp i think its Ł650 with reflex pack. I have the older shape fiesta st all i can say the handling is superb but i reckon the power is a bit on the downside.

i think the new fiesta st is as fk,u can buy a bolt on throttle body kit that takes it up 2 204bhp,seen it advertised in fast ford few months ago!!!

as said esp is an option

as for handling its great but the tyres let in down especially
in the wet and fitting lowering springs improves it loads
