Cheep fixer upper too tinker with while I wait for the Sierra. Ive done a few bits too it now think Ill lower it soon and get wheels refurbished.
nothing wrong with that I find these cars great fun with plenty of tuning potential, sold mine bought 3 other fords and then went back to another and always puts a smile on my face
My current '10 ST-3, had since May 2014 and not likely to be selling anytime soon. It's totally standard aswell & has all the options (silver wheels, sat-nav, reversing camera) except power-fold mirrors. I would like to fit these but not sure if I would have the wiring.

very nice not a huge fan of grey sts but defo liking the blue one
Nice cars, any reason why so many people say the pre facelift model is preferred over the later st?
for me I do like the pfl in looks more than the fl unless of course its RS as the st fl for me seams lack lustre and I had a 2010 st3 too and went back to a 2007 pfl, with right extras can look mean a fook plus you dont have the worry over keyless thefts, its really preference thing kyle
I'm itching to buy an ST this year. I just can't decide what to go for. I like performance blue, sea grey and, of course, electric orange. There seems to be such a wide vary in price and miles, and the majority are down south. There's a place near Brum called J&R who seems to have 20 of them in stock, so might be worth me visiting them.
I'm also concerned about the issues many seemed to be plagued with, the block liners cracking. I know the block mod can be done, so I'd prefer one that this has already been done to, or a totally standard one that hasn't had pops n bangs mapped to it, as I bet that doesn't help matters.
To me orange is horrendous lol. Don’t mind white or red. It’s sea grey panther black then blue for me in that order.
Pop and bang map is for little kids lol. As long as you don’t nail the arse off it and it and look after it the block isn’t an issue. Tuned properly I read there good to 400ish or over for some without the mod. There’s a lot of scare stories. You read about 5 on line and it’s a major issue. There 100’s of thousands of them engine. Some act like there crack just reversing off the drive lol
Not a fan of Colorado red at all. It just looks flat as shit. White is nice, but wasn't that facelift only?
Not too sure I always wanted sea grey but found a panther black one really cheap. Needed a few jobs and high mileage. It’s got a full turbo back system sport cat big intercooler. Lower springs wheel spacers and an after market splitter now. Great cars to be fair
Mines on 149’000 ish if I remember not used it properly a while now. 2500 I’m sure I paid it was about 2 years ago now. And silly faults. Fog light broken drivers seat wobbled about. Air con didn’t work. Few suspension knocks and it had a miss fire. Needed a good mop and polish as well. Pulls really well it’s been re mapped great car
Frozen White replaced Diamond White in about 2007/8 didn't it? Seem to remember that it happened around the time they facelifted the MK6 Fiesta. Huge difference between them, that's for sure. Diamond looks really cream coloured next to frozen.
In the facelift Focus, you could get a pearl white too, which had a bit of blue in it IIRC.

I thought that it was Diamond White for pfl and Frozen White for fl with Electric White aswell
225s are starting to thin out a bit nowadys as rust and boy racers are chipoping away at numbers wont be long before they get really saught after again, this is my current mk2
Sits nice mate is it on coilovers? Is it true they do shafts quicker when lowerd ?
its on BC coilovers big issues are when folk play with suspension without altering or uprating driveshaft length ,droplinks or lower it way too far so often does put strain on shafts also some maps are very harsh on shafts imo DS maps are the worst
Thanks for info steve, I got cp340 software rs injectors from a lad off here got cooler and few other bits I hear it's a good reliable level ?
Used to run the cp340 myself until I uprated my turbo then I changed to the mountune mr375, the cp340 is good strong reliable map, if you have all the running gear needed then you should be pretty close to the 340hp figure
I have recently picked this up for Ł3000. With 12 months MOT and 4 new tyres. 77k chassis and only 15k on a full engine rebuild. I only bought it to have something to run about in with a bit of power and somewhat back to my Old Ford days
Its filthy, done about 5k miles in the last 10 years and stuck in a farmers barn, everything just works on it. Im shortly getting the cam belt done and a full service but it runs like a dream and with the drive home Ive already out about 500 miles on it and smiles on my face 👌🏻
its got receipts for a stage 1 revo setup done by Pumabuild many years ago, but no other proof of power output, suggested approach 300bhp bit I also have no proof of the block mod so I am driving it sensibly and only the odd blip once oil and water temps are up. 😃
I only bought it as a run about but already Ive done quite a few cosmetic bits on it and starting to properly clean it inside and out, cant help myself 🤭 Ive bought a DA polisher machine and going to to give it a proper polish soon.
Just gave the bay a basic first clean up today as it was terrible.
