Hi team... Just thought I would drop you guys and gals a wee bit info I found out. The key remote to open and lock the doors has never worked since I have owned the car. So I went through the turn on the ignition 4 times and push any button on the remote but nothing worked. So it turned out the remote control module was stuffed. We found a Mondeo unit which was exactly the same unit and plugged it in and relearned the remote and away it went!!
