ST170 Camshaft Specs
Hi,
just wondering if anyone has the timing and valve lift specs for the stock ST170 camshafts? I'm trying to calculate whether I will need to have my pistons pocketed when changing over to a higher-lift racing cam...
Cheers...

Wahay!! I've lost my Virginity!!
O.E.M. Cam
duration 277 / 265
duration 230 / 220
maximum lift 10.95 / 9.85mm
lift at TDC 0.25 / 1.05mm
Not sure if it's correct, its from CFM's site.

Hi, thanks for the reccommend... I was looking at the Piper270 cams they have slightly lower lift.
Did you have to pocket the piston crowns, or was there sufficient clearance ?
any idea of the power / torque gains ??
