Is it possible to mod the 3 door st170 to global open shut windows

Maybe get the 5 door switch and relay, is it as simple as that?
Im just guessing the 5 door window switch fits my 3 door

Also im not sure the bulbs in the xenon headlights are the correct ones, side bulbs are blue for a start
Does anyone know what the correct factory bulbs should be

different socket on window switch and the 3dr does not have correct wiring loom, anything can be done with the know how but its not easy at all

xenon bulbs original have a slight orange glow and are 4.5k but best bulbs to use are 6000k which is brightest of the white before they start tinting blue, sidelights are normal 501 capless type no doubt somebody has fitted cheapo blue leds

 

While it might appear like a worthwhile addition in 7 years of ownership I only ever used mine to pose! With A/C I only opened a window for car park barriers and drive thrus. The windows were one touch so you'd just punt the switch while driving off.

so is the high beam bulb a normal bulb too?

Thanks mate, I see what you mean, but leaving windows open when you get out its far easier to close on the keyfob than it is to put the key back in the ignition
