Can anyone help me identify this hose that comes out the inlet plenum, just by the throttle body? and where does it go?

Cheers

Pretty sure this isn't his car.

It's essentially a Volvo T5 engine.

Yeah it's the focus st225 engine, which is the volvo T5. Not mine in the photo, just used as an example.
Yeah if you could, it's just a large vacuum hose that comes out the plenum, I just need to know if I can block it up or is it required?
In the 8th and 9th photo down you can see the outlet I'm talking about

I would say its a pcv check valve iirc it goes to a catch tank mounted on the front of the block i wouldn't block it you can just move it

I don't know I've looked at all the pcv hose plumbing and it doesn't appear to be that.
Looking at other photos it runs along the underside of the inlet manifold and then goes towards the back of the engine, you can see it in the first photo just exiting from underneath the end of the plenum.
