Default ST170 Starting problems

Hi all, my st170 wouldn't start properly this morning. Started up ok then after about 10-20 secs cut out. Did this a couple of times and know won't start at all.
There is fuel in it, the electrics all work so it's not the battery. And can't be the starter motor as it did start up and can be heard trying to start the car.

I've noticed the spark plugs are in very poor condition and the ignition leads could benefit from being replaced so have ordere a new set of all which should arrive and get fitted tomorrow. I hope this is all it is, does this problem sound like it's just spark plug/ignition related?

This happened to mine turned out the fuel filter hadn't been changed from new. Worth the tenner or so just to swap it over.

Replaced the spark plugs, ignition leads and fuel filter as all hadn't been done for a while by the looks of things. Car has been running fine for a week or so now. But came to start it again this morning and exactly the same thing! Any ideas anyone?
