A mate's getting a focus rs this week and wants to know if changing the standard recirc dump valve for an aftermarket one like bailey or graham goode would be ok?... i know some cars don't like atmospheric valves fitted!!! how many FRS owners have done this?
Also, as it is completely standard at the mo, what other mods are worth doing early on?
cheers

Check out Tech Q&A - I asked this too!!!!
If you search for posts created by Willow in the search you'll find it in Tech Q&A - answer is yes they can be fitted - has little effect - just bought one and will be fitting this weekend. Let you know how it goes!!!!!

Got the Bailey one! - it's easy to fit!
And no induction kit yet - using a K&N replacement filter but not changed it for a cone jobbie yet.
Got a decat pipe coming soon hopefully so that'll spurce things up in the BHP field!!!
Then it's induction kit and Bluefin and hopefully somewhere near 270BHP 300Ft/lbs torque

I had a Bailey DV26i on my FocusRS, the car ran really rich with it on - no noticeable loss in power and nothing to indicate any issues but a rolling road showed up the problem and I have since removed it!
