As above,

From cold you press the button (MK1 Focus RS) to fire her up and it does for a second then cuts out.

You do this 3 times then it starts and there is no issues. You can stop/start as many times as you like no issues.

This only started yesterday.

I don't know is it a coincidence or what but the fuel light was on but not for long about 10miles or so then i parked it up for the night. It did it this morning then when left at work all day it did it again...

The car has been mapped, rebuilt engine ect tubular manifold....

could be AE map which had cold start issues.
