it is beyond laughable now how over moderated and UN-FUN that place has become?!

does anyone else feel the same as me? i am 'done' with the RSOC for good now. no way i am giving those jokers and more of my money

well the forum may not be as fun as over here but if no-one gave money to the RSOC you can say goodbye to it and the major shows it puts on.

 

I'm hoping to join it. I here nothing but good things about the club.

I also think the fee of 25 euro a year is small compared to some other clubs. The Subaru club I'm in is 50 euro a year so RSOC is only half that.

as said above, take away the rsoc and you lose some great shows like central day, combe,croft,national day... quite a simple one really if you dont like the website then dont go over there.. but if you do attend one of the shows then just think of who runs it

Too many people on there have no sense of humour and take themselves far toooo seriously.

IMO.

 

If you are in the right clicky friend group there then great, if not tough.(I am not btw)
Some great people on there always helpfull etc, but the club is going downhill and losing members and groups due to certain people on the committee
Now even considering selling all my cars due to this

 

I joined the other day. Had the same trouble as you in that I used my yahoo address and it was rejected. You need to set up an address with yo internet provider. It work perfect then.

 

tried that now too... allowed me to register but whenever i try and post anything, it just says i dont have permission to!

You have to go onto your new email and verify your registration in order to post. Same as on here.

 

Just seems to be a lot of moaning there these days.
Only rooms I post in really is Sierra and Sapphire rooms which are still good fun.
Still went to a meet tonight, which cheered me up. Perhaps the enthusiasm will return

 

The truth is its a car club Forum & runs as such. It will always cater for the true RS punter who dont thing slutty jokes & bullshit are what there hobby is about. You cant compare it to a social network site like PF.
If i want to talk cars I go on there if i want to talk shite I come on here there is room for both .
