its something im doing right now, its all up and running , just got a few niggles to sort .

if you wanna go down the oem route , your looking at between 2k and 3k in parts, its simply enough providing you get everything from the donor .

to run it on original management and the chargecooler, you need the full engine loom and the entire dash loom.

best way to do it is to buy a wrote of rs, otherwise you`ll be searching for so many rs specific bits and bobs it will take a life time.

need rs engine/box, loom + e.c.u, all the rads/ pipes/ hoses/ mounts e.t.c.
if you use the rs box (presuming your keeping the standard hubs/ knuckles/ wishbones e.t.c.) you will need either 2.0 or tdci shafts
you will also need the rs fuel pump.
its pretty straight forward and just a matter of straight swapping the existing bits for rs bits for the most of it.
you will have to mod the o/s driveshaft mounting bracket that bolts onto the block though as this is different. (its only a matter of drilling an extra hole)

having owned the rs before, i bought a stripped rs shell and have been building the front end back up from scratch so i know every little part there is/ should be now.
