Focus engine change???
Few questions I have a ford focus MK1 1.4 16v Zetec and I've just bought a donner car what's a ford focus MK1 1.8 16v Zetec and would like to know a few things on an engine swap. So here I go,
Will all the engine and gearbox mounts be the same?
Will the wiring loom be the same so all i'll need will be the ECU and Fuse box?
The 1.8 has got air con and my 1.4 hasn't how could I get around it?
Will there be anything else I need? Have I missed anything important?

The engine will go in, but you will also need to change, loom, full exhaust system, suspension (1.8 is a lot heavier), fuel lines, ecu, possibly ignition barrel so it works with the PATS just to name a few things.
Not really worth it IMO!
