Hi,

I cant open one of the rear windows on my Focus 2002 when using the switch in the drivers door, but it can be shut from this position. This rear window can be opened and closed with the rear door switch itself so there is no mechanical problem. Also when using my remote locking all the windows can be shut or opened.

A strange thing what I have noticed: when opening the rear window with its own switch there is no problem. But when closing it from the drivers position it can be close by pushing the button both sides! So push 'up' or 'down' both give the same result in making the window going up.

I think the switches in the doors are going to relais before powering the windows but I am not sure.

Anybody who can give me a good advise or maybe a electric scheme?

 

Just found the problem. A wire in the drivers door had been broken. Restored the contact and all good now!
