Default 2003 Focus ABS

I haven't used my Focus for the last week as I've been ill.
I got in it today and pulled off and the back brakes clonked because they've been sat for a while.
About 5 mins driving down the road my ABS light came on and has stayed on. Would this have been caused by sticky brakes?
Just thought that this is probably the most appropriate answer, and I'm only asking so I don't get conned at a garage!
Cheers!

Was looking on google, and it seems there was an article on watchdog about faulty dash clusters using lead free solder, this caused instrument clusters to short out.
I think this might be the case with mine as the mileage LCD screen keeps blinking on/off and goes really faint too.
Has anyone else had problems with their dash?

its becuase the joints go dry and oxide then become resitive instead of conductive..
iirc, spraying wd40 over the back of the circuit board cures the problem (as wd40 removes oxidisation) with the focus dash but i cant remember which part of the clocks the solder affected..
