how is the side trim and bumper trims held in on the facelift mk1?
will be removing for colour coding (when i get a car) just after some advice

The side mouldings are held on by clips and double sided tape
The bumper strips are just clips .
When I coloured coded mine a couple of years ago I splashed out on new mouldings all round..expensive yes but unless you are careful in removal you will break the clips and distort the mouldings and just end up with a pile of scrap plastic
Take your time and you may get away with it.
