For 17", any of the below tyre sizes.

205/40
205/45
215/40
215/45

I had 205/40 and they were too hard a ride & looked like rubber bands. Then went to 215/45 which were much better. They filled the arches better where the 205/40s didnt even tho the car was lowered 30mm on eibachs.

Fiesta ST wheels fit on the Focus fine. They look rather nice aswell, better than the ST170 wheels that are rather common these days.

Mk1 FRS wheels do fit, but you will need to use 215/35 tyres not 225/40s as they will rub. Thats the same with all 18's.

so if i had some that were 18's and 225/40 would i be able to get away with the rubing without causing serious damage?

thanks,

No they will stick out miles, you need a minimum offset of ET42.

I tried on a wheel with an offset of ET38, you can kind of make out in this shot how far they stick out compared to the front's ET49.

So yes, ET42 minimum to stop scrubbing and wheel bearing knackering!
