Default st170 brake disc change

hi all..pretty new here and also no mechanic but can easily follow instructions . i have an 04 st170 and have new pads and discs to put on it. thing is i cant find a Haynes for the St170. If i was to buy a haynes for the normal focus, would the process / instructions for replacing said parts be the same for my car or not?

Give people a chance, the focus room here is a quiet room.

To be honest a disc and pad change is the same as any car will be, remove the calipers and caliper carriers, whip disc off, new disc on, bolt the carriers back up, press pistons in, grease the sliders up, new pads in and bolt it all back up together, and adjust fluid level in reservoir as necessary.

As rich said the ST is the exact same as any car, is it for thr front of the rear tho? I can get you the torque settings if you arent sure about tightening the caliper brackets etc if you want and have a torque wrench.

If its for the rear GET A REAR CALIPER PISTON WIND IN TOOL, trust me otherwise you will lose your patience with it, one of my fav tools.
Dont forget to remove your brake fluid res cap when pushing the pistons back in.

Sorry for tje late reply if you already have it done this weekend

You can do it without the tool and use pointy nose pliars and push while turning it with the pliars and it will go in. Can be quite annoying without the tool or if it is siezed or stiff.
