Nothing wrong with the standard disks and pair them with mintex pads if you want a slight improvment, i have just replaced the disks all round on my ST170 with 20 groove disks and EBC green stuff pads. Disks and pads front and back were £220 delivered off flea bay. They are great over the standard stuff, the first thing i noticed is the initial bite due to the grooves being much improved and there is little fade. Was informed red stuff and yellow stuff pads would have been better as they preform a bit better but need a little more heat in them to get them working to their full potential

this is what i went for and im very impressed, the grooves do add a little inital noise but it dies down fairly quickly after bedding them in
