Hi all,
i am a bit of a focus virgin this is my first mk1 focus i have had

gone are my mk2 escort days and boy racer stage,
i am 37 years old now dad of one and are just looking to make my focus look nice and stuble,

first thing i have is a collection front bumper at my local paint shop
should have it back for the weekend,

i am looking at putting a seat leon splitter on it and was wanting to know
how hard/easy it is to do and how to do it right

so if you guys can offer any help that would be great

Its easy. I did mine in B&Q car park after getting some self tappers!

If the bumper is off its even easier. Find the center of the bumper and the centyer of the splitter. Make sure they line up and simply use selftapping screws to hold it in place.

The splitter has handy places to put screws!

I would argue i was one of the first if not the first to do it ona focus.



also fitted it to a reiger valance

one more thing do the mk1.5 bumpers like st170 ones go straight on to a mk1
as well

i'm stuck on weather to go with the collection bumper or face lift mk1.5 with st fogs

collection bumper is back from paint shop and now fitted to the car

All bumpers from all Mk1 and Mk 1.5 will fit. Only thing is the Mk one will have indicator holes and the Mk1.5 wont. But fitting hte Mk1.5 headlights is not too much hasle.

there cheaper than that from seat and no postage charge if think there around £15 plus the vat my mates just fitted on to his st24

thanks for this i thought they would have cost more
rang my local dealer to check there stock and they have them with the vat it works out at £21.59 and it was only a ten min drive away

so look out tomorrow as of to b&q for some self tappers and away i go
