Its easy. I did mine in B&Q car park after getting some self tappers!

If the bumper is off its even easier. Find the center of the bumper and the centyer of the splitter. Make sure they line up and simply use selftapping screws to hold it in place.

The splitter has handy places to put screws!

I would argue i was one of the first if not the first to do it ona focus.
