Hi, I am changing the speed sensor on my 1.8 zetec focus as my clocks are doing the dying trick. I have located the speed sensor but the pin has snapped leaving just the cylinder part of the pin left. what is the best way to remove this? thanks

 

this is really annoying now i can get the mole grips on but cant get the angle or grip to get them as tight as they need as soon as i try to wiggle them they jsut slip off again has anybody got a clever way of doing this?

 

hi, i had the same problem on my focus, id drive down the road 2 mins later the speedo went, then just after the mileage went blank,i very carefully drilled it out, BUT , in the end it turned out to be the clocks! try them first. everybody says speed sensor but its not. you can lube your original clocks somehow but to be honest id just replace them.
