bluefin troubles
hi
im having troubles with my bluefin chip, its says programme mismatch,
it does this because the idiots at ford installed a newer version of the original programme, whitout checking first,
but now i cant install the bluefin anymore,
does anyone know how to reset the bluefin in any way??
already contacted superchips and they said it would cost 350 pounds
because im not the orignal owner of the car

Only way of resetting the bluefin unit is via Superchips but as said they will only do this if you were the original purchaser of the unit - if not, like most businesses, then you will need to pay Bluefin/Superchips to get the matter resolved as it was not their mistake that resolved in the problem - the bluefin unit should have been removed before the car went to the dealer
If you dont want to get the Bluefin unit reset then the other option would be to buy Bluefins rival unit Dreamscience which costs about the same as the bluefin reset will set you back
