Bluefin is an option but not the best option and although it will get you more performance from your engine, it won't get all of it.

The above company is a dealer for Motorsport Developments who remapped my friends TDCi 115ps Mondeo and afterwards it pulled all the way to 140+mph and would regularly see 60mpg when cruising. The map was perfect and it was so smooth in every gear.
When remapped it pulled on a focus ST170 and once on the motorway we had pulled a considerable distance on it. Motorsport Developments are possibly the best remapping specialists in the UK. I guarantee you if you go to the above dealer, you will not be disappointed.

Q? Is the programming work done by your company?
A. PinSharp Automotive Services will read the original ECU data from your vehicle and send it via a secure server to Evolution Chips headquarters. The highly experienced staff at Evolution Chips will modify the map files and send them back again via the secure server for reprogramming into the ECU
So does he just upload thier map? .

wifiuk - You have email
Thanks to Chip for the recommendation As mentioned on the thread, there are other Evolution Chips dealers that may be closer to you, but I have no problem in travelling to you.

its a shame they dont offer the remote remap box's, and cant find much info on them on the net either, no much feedback or reviews.

Remote remap boxes are shit compared to a proffessional remap from Evolution Chips. If you search, you will find lots of feedback about Evolution Chips remaps.
I suggest you contact your local dealer

yes, i went with Evolution Chips in the end, and i couldn't recommend them enough.
Its mapped to 135.7 Bhp and 290.1 Nm or something like that!
The others have nothing on Evo Chips

Do you have any other mods or just the remap? Good results there!
I'm not sure which company to go with, evolution chips aren't local to me but im looking at going with Angel tuning as they are mobile

I got the remap done on monday, i've not had chance to test it properly get but so far it feels alot better, you can select a higher gear when crusing along without the car stuggling so this should boost mpg. The car feels alot more powerful and you can definatly feel the increase in Tourque.
One slight problem though, when i first start the car the readout on the dash says "engine system fault" and when i drive the car it is in limp mode. If i turn the car of and start it for a 2nd time it doesn't do this. Its annoying having to start the car twice, the guy who mapped it knows about it so he's told me to disconnect the battery for an hour or two to see if it resets.
Has anyone else had the same problem?
