Default Frs induction kits

Has anyone suffered with any problems after fitting a K&N gen 2 kit to a frs?

Since fitting my gen2 ive had no problems at all. Just a lovely whoosh. I was going to get a Dvalve, but since fitting the filter I can hear the standard fit valve anyhow! Because the airbox is removed and no longer insulates the sound. Cant see theres any advantage fitting one when the cars already got one.

I was a bit dissapointed as there hasn't been any noticable performance increase with the filter. Only now there's hardly any turbo lag just smooth acceleration I actually miss that kick of the turbo, the smoothness almost makes it feel slightly slower (which I know is not the case), but quite liking the new noises.

Some FRS's have experienced stalling probs with filter and new dv, but many have been ok.

I would say stick with a recirc dv - Bailey DV30, Forge007 or the standard recirc - an atmos dv will make your car overfuel and you may also suffer from stalling when changing gear
