Default Throttle body

Hi there,
Iv heard many people on different cars have made a change to there standard throttle body to get that bit more air, im not sure what it is thats done or how its done or eaven if it works or not...

Does anyone know anything about this and spread any light on it?
Might be something I would try if its worth it.

Thanks
Carl

i ported my own standard 1.6 throttle body a few years ago.
made a nice improvement over throttle response but as for power couldnt say how big a gain.
could definatly feel the difference over standard though.
have a flick through the american websites for instructions on how to do.
you will need some chemical metal and a dremel.
