just after abit of info guys looking to get rid of the a3 and get either a CTR or focus rs still undecided yet !

few things

* whats the standard 1/ mile times on these?
* whats the best way to go about power gains from the engine ( starting in the hundreds working upwards)
* any common faults i need to look out for on these

any other info would be good thanks

 

Hi mate, get the FRS and then you can be rest assured your driving the best Hot Hatch (still) on the roads today, it`ll hold it`s price better and will mod better too!

1/4 mile I think is 14secs and basically just look after one that`s been well cared for and you`ll be ok!

Stage 1 will see you up at the 280-300bhp mark, then your into bigger turbo, headwork, cams for 330-360bhp territory!

CTR is alright but that`s all it is...........alright but then I am biased!

"stage 1" what does that consist of? and how much am i looking at

 

Bluefin - Ł500
Full Exhaust - Ł500
K&N - Ł200
Manifold - Ł700

Bleed Valve as a quick cheap power fix - Ł70

Up round the 300bhp mark with that lot, I`ve got all above bar the manifold and made 278bhp & 324lb/ft!
