Well just got back from Superchips in Buckingham and I am well pleased with the result, 328 bhp @ 5587 rpm and 444 Nm @ 4847 rpm with PD/TD roller bearing hybrid of standard turbo and custom superchips map . That was with a sweltering 30 degrees ambient temp so I can expect more on a cooler day. When I arrived I met Pat Barret from Primary Designs who organised my upgrade and Superchips Dyno run, all I can say is he's a totally top bloke and it was good to finally meet him in person. The guys at Superchips were spot on aswell, very very switched on people.

Donald Duck !!!

So what sort of mods were needed to get that? Do i read correct that you have a PD manifold with a Hybrid roller bearing turbo and a live mapping session from superchips ?

What sort of turbo is that then, and what sort of boost do you run to get those figures? do you use a boost controller to hold the boost up?

More info needed!

Nice result m8, bet your chuffed with the car? Must be on the limits of the gearbox tho ???

Yes using Apexi AVC R boost controller with the high set at 22 psi about 1.5 bar. But the result was mainly due to the turbo being able to hold boost all the way.

Jim contact Pat Barret at Primary Designs 01844 216057 tell him Keith sent you and that you are interested in the same upgrade. Its down as the PD330bhp upgrade. The advantage of this upgrade is that the turbo will spool up quicker and it's not ott for the car, just about right I would say.

Cheers

Keith

Awesome mate. Would definately consider that conversion. IMO is a nice power for FWD, and cheaper than GT28, mapping, headwork, cams etc.

How laggy is this hybrid GT25 turbo?

What RPM does it start to make boost and at what RPM is it on full boost?
