Default Gt28rs Spec

Does anyone no the spec of the gt28rs turbo that fits to the focus rs?

T25 / T3?

Exhaust house size?

.63/.64 ?

HI MATE SPEAK TO LADS AT UNIVERAL TURBOS AND THERE WILL LET YOU NO,I SPOKE TO THEM LAST WEEK AND THEY TOLD ME THE GT28 RS TURBO WILL FIT STRAIGTH ONTO THE FOCUS T25 MANIFOLD ALL YOU REQ IS LONGER WATER & OIL PIPES AND A LARGER INTAKE BOOST PIPE,
I FOUND A SITE SELLING THESE TURBO FOR £400.00 DOWN SOUTH.

HI MATE JUST FOUND THE SITE, ULIMATE- VELOCITY CALL THEM ON
01162662822 BASED IN LEICESTER.

I did the bloke was a bit of a knob but yes for 400 quid you can have a gt28 turbo on your focus Rs + new down pipe.

You will need new oil and water feeds for the turbo and thats it.

Bishman,

I was taking to keith off of ere and he put me in touch with pat form primany design it seems the best all round turbo for the focus rs is the gt25/28 that pat, keith have been working on.

Worth a chat either with keith of pat i think thats the way im gonna go.

PD are quite expensive though, no? It'll have to wait for a bit I think mate, just thought for £400 it might be worth a go!!

For 400 quid it's gotta be worth a shot mate.

I am thinking about it could work out a nice little saving or on the other hand it could just be a load of wank

kmrobertson3 not necessarily, a lot of the cost of the Garrett will be development and testing whereas someone in the middle-east (or wherever with cheap labour/materials) obviously just ripped the design off and produced their own. Don't worry though, nothings going on my baby before I know a hell of a lot more about it!

Cheap labour ok, cheap materials a definite no no. There is a lot of heat going through the turbo so I wouldn't chance it.

If it's the same material but it costs less why would that matter?
