Default None start after new clutch

Hi can anyone help please I've had a new clutch fitted on my diesel 2008 Ford focus 1.8 I've had it changed from a dual mass to a single mass flywheel with all the necessary items to convert it to a solid mass but now the car won't start I was told could be the crank case sensor so brought a new one still no joy tried easy start it started but over reved and then just cut out again and still no start all wires etc are correct and present I've been told could be the flywheel as the new one have teeth on the back for the semsor but old one is a square ring type would this be the case or am I missing something only surly it would still work as its sold for the car?

Any ideas and help would be much appreciated

I did think is the sensor to close due to being teeth I have took it all off again and waiting on the place I got it from to let me send it back and swap it for the same one that came off just hope they do and it solves the problem never come across this before but it's pretty stupid making a flywheel that suppose to fit on the car but won't work properly I've looked everywhere and only found the same sensor available thats already on the car too.?

Not 100% sure without checking but I now the old flywheel was heaver and seemed bigger compared to the new one the old one is a dual mass where as the new one is a solid single mass which I was told should be ok to convert as alot of people have done this but with my luck it dont seem to want to work out that way so I'm guessing they could be a different size

you will have to have the correct gap between the sensor and the flywheel or it will never start.is their some movement to adjust the senor gap to the flywheel?

I think there was some movement with the sensor I did think about trying this but yesterday I took it all apart now and waiting on the company to hopefully let me swap it for a dual mass one as I gave up with the solid mass type now if I did adjust it what would be the likely hood in it working?

yes if you dont have the right gap it wont pick up a signal.,im not 100 % on your car but you wouldnt want more than .75 to 1mm

I did think it could be to close maybe as the difference in the flywheels im going to refit it later and check the clearance if it needs adjustment do that and see if she will start hopefully it does if it does ill fit everything back on as im going to try it with the gearbox off not putting that on to have to take it all back off again

Ok so another update I've tried to start the car with the flywheel back on moved the sensor measure it and even moved it a few times just incase but still no start so I'm guessing swap flywheel for the same one that came off still don't understand why it won't work if they sell the part for the car?
