Have a mk2 focus 1.8 tdci on an 07 plate.

Wipers work on on intermittent and slow speeds. But when you turn up to maxinmum speed there is no change in speed from the position before.

Could this his be a faulty stalk of should I be looking elsewhere?

Just a thought as I’ve had no replies, but the car has various other electrical issues.
The heated screen doesn’t work, the light on the button doesn’t flash come on or anything, car had a brand new screen today so I can count that out.
Plus various dashboard issues. Fuel gauge doesn’t always work, temperature also, had it ‘repaired’ but it’s never quite been right.
Any it’s somehow had the wrong alternator fitted. It does charge at around 13.7 volts.
To be more specific it needs a 3 pin plug but instead has a 2 pin plug!

I’m just wondering aside from the alternator could this be a bcm issue?
