hey guys/gals last night i was on my way home and cruising on the motorway at 60, next thing there was a huge smoke cloud behind me but went instantly, there was no loss of power, i managed to get home and when i checked theres a bit of oil down the front of the engine but it not dripping. there is a bit of blue smoke coming out the exhaust.

ive done a bit of light mechaniking and as far as i can work out i think the head gasket has gone, or the head has warped.

now just to say, the car is in mint condition with the engine looked after and fresh service, am i right and whats the best way to proceed without spending loads?

turns out gasket and piston rings. ouch. anyways picked me up an st170 engine. putting that in
