less trans loss (ib5 avrages 15% where the mtx75 is 17%) and you get shorter ratios so better 0-60 but lower top speed (ib5 still good for 135+) and you can fit the 1.8 flywheel at the same time which is lighter so you get a free reving engine.
but its not a good box for high power (ie 250bhp+) but good for lower power cars
you would need
pair of drive shafts
gearbox
flywheel
gear cables
gear selector (gear stick)
and the rev switch plug from an ib5 (im pritty sure thay differ to mtx75)

Standard then, thing I would ask myself though is why did Ford fit the MTX, if they could get away with fitting the IB5, like they did on all other petrol models (Barring hot models) there must be good reason?
If those ratios are short I dread to think what the MTX is like, I have always found the IB5 to be tall gearing.

First is alittle bit taller but every other gear is shorter than a mtx75.
