I changed the clutch in a 2000 1.4 Focus, job went without any problems, done quite a few of these. Reassembled everything and went for a short test drive on sunday afteroon, again no problems.

Drove the car this morning and the first 50mins went fine but then within 15mins it all went wrong. I noticed the car was having trouble maintaining idle at traffic lights, it got progressively worse so that it was stalling whilst braking or stopped at light and then it just stopped dead and now wont restart.

Engine check light is not on and I can hear the fuel pump priming with ignition on. Turns over but wont start.
