hi, will an aftermarket 2.0/1.8 zetec exhaust fit an st170? think i'd have to get custom flexi or decat to make it join onto the manifold but just wondering if the if it would be the right shape and have the hangers in the right places.

 

yes but the hole from the flexi may be wider but nothing a file down wouldnt fix

 

It would fit no problem like above bit of "adapting" will see it on to the flexi but hangers are same place on all the mk1s including the st/rs. My concern would be if the bore of the system you've got is smaller it won't be a good idea to fit it but im not positive on the bore of the st exhaust i think their about the same as the 2.0/1.8s anyway so should be singing
