Hi new on this. A was wanting to know if anyone has ever done a 1.8 silvertop or 2.0 blacktop zetec engine conversion from a mondeo into a mk6 fiesta and if its easy enough or a hassle??

 

I believe devil developments have done it but with a turbo

 

Take its not a common conversion to do?? Av looked on the net n there is hardly any info about it

 

My mates running a 2.0 blacktop in his mk6.... and im building up a zetec turbo to drop in my mk6... Can be fitted using a mix of parts, and there are a few tricks to get the clocks working, and the alternator charging as these are the main stumbling blocks.

Its not 'common' because there are quite a few bits you need to change, and make fit... but its not a 5 spanner Haynes manual job lol...

Il probably knock up a build thread once I've got the parts together, just contemplating whether to run an IB5 box or a MTX at the moment.... looking to start just before xmas, and should take a week or two
