fuel computer
If it is a proper 90 spec then the loom will be there. Easiest way to check would be too look under the carpet under the rear seats. You should see a small loom coming out of the middle of the car heading towards the front.
As said you will need sensors. Fuel Flow and Gearbox speed.

so i will need a loom from the middle to the computer.
what else?
where does the fuel flow sensor go?
also where is the gearbox sensor, doesnt it just use the speed sensor?

No, if you look under your seat and the loom is there then you have it. It is a complete one piece loom. I don't know about XR3i's but on an RST the fuel flow sensor goes on the metering unit. The Gearbox Spped Sensor goes inbetween the speedo driver and the gearbox. It is round and black and has a plug coming off of it.
ok heres how to fit your fuelcom, THE VERY FIRST THING is, if you can find a scrap car that had a fuelcom, and get the multiplug and a couple of feet of the loom connected too it, whilst u hunting one down there should be a yellow plug behind your speedo/dash this is the lights on/power plug to the fuel com. Since ur car is an EFI you can wire the FUEL PULSE and SPEED SENDER wires straight ooff the ECU block using scotchlocks. The fuel tank sender is wired into a black plug that should be under the rear seat cushion. all these wires you need to run to the MULTIPLUG if you have one. ie 3 wires.... one speed sensor...one fuel pulse/usage....one fuel level. see if you can get a plug and bit of loom first then i can tell you wich wires to connect etc etc

EASY if you get a the multiplug and a peice of loom conected to it. otherwise its a little bit messier!. EFI is easeir than MFI as the MFI requires a fuel metering unit attached to the fuel ditributor head in the engine bay!!!
