ive been lookin round the net tryin to find gauge pod for my s2. atm, ive got the triple one that replaces the centre vents. its the metal one with rs turbo on it but the previous owner has cut away part which goes round the heater controls so it dont fit very well
ive tried lookin for the plastic one that goes here but only found it on nomad and theres no price. im wondering if i would rather have the vents in the middle coz in summer wont the car be alot hotter inside with 2 less vents?

whats everyone else done? anyone know where u can buy the pillar pods that have the whole pillar strip in that light grey colour?
anyone got one they wana sell? cheers

 

I have the three in the middle no problems as it was done properly I also have an a pillar dual 52mm mount also from nomad

 

I've lost my centre vents for guages as well. Can't say I've notice any temp probs inside the car.

dave8oy, that looks really good. think thats what ineed to do as my screen hits on the bit of dash and cant fold out properly. did twins do that for u as a mate favour or does he do work like that for cash?

my screen surround was done by someone else but twins modified it for me!

he does stuff for people!

he s done loads for me!

if you want one i could lend him mine as my car is in bits again so he can make another buy you ll have to pm and sort it!

its designed for an alpine screen to fit without the cage or surround!

but i dont see why it cant be made to fit any stereo!

 

excellent mate, cheers, i'll bare that in mind. im not sure what to do at mo, where to lay stuff out coz i quite like havin the 3 gauges in the middle but then again my screen wont fold out and up properly coz of the angle of the head unit and that its set into the dash more on a mk4 escort
