Default Sunroof problems!

When I try and shut this properly I get clicking noises and the handle just spins!

I was told it is a problem with the cable? Just wondered how hard to replace?

Also, is the actual sunroof serviceable? Can it be taken out and then small parts changed or greased up to get it to be as good as new?

Thanks

Nick

to get to the sun roof you have to remove the roof lining, it will then costyou £200 to have a new rof lining put up. tbh the sun roof is proberbly rusted closed any way and there about 35o to replace. cant you live with just opening the windows??? lol

you dont have to remove the roof lining at all

it comes up and out the top, just need to remove some screws and clips from the inside.

the only thing with taking them out is its very difficult to get a good seal when you put it back

mine does the same matey, it was ok until recently, now she just clicks and is very stiff...

if its stuck open, get a mate to push down/pull it closed (depending on position atm) whilst you turn the handle (it worked with me)
