Bought my rs a mouth ago, the bloke said it was chipped at 150bhp but was bought down to 132bhp for safer use for work, running 11.6psi 0.8bar this sound right?

 

if those figures are at the wheels then it sounds right otherwise if its at the flywheel then somethings wrong

 

Why would the owner pay money out to chip it to then turn the power back to where it was.

Only way to find out is to take the car to your local friendly tuner and have it set up. If they return it with a nice 15psi of boost you know the bugger is chipped

 

it was done at sanspeed, got graphs but jus shows lines everywhere lol. get me intercooler and turbo then il get it back down there.

know what chip they use there?

 

well if its running over 11psi then its chipped as the standard boost limit is 10.5psi
