Bonnet Raisers anygood? worth having? anybody got them?

Had them on the S2 and they do aid in keeping underbonnet temps down. They do however (IMO) look a bit pants so only have them on for the Summer myself

just got some bonnet raisers off ebay. they look cool. should be here wednesday hopefully. there stainless steel polished. should look ok on my S2

I have a hose directing air from under the bonnet into the passenger cabin on my track S2,the bonnet is standard as it left the factory and the air coming into the cabin is'nt hot,its the same as the outside temperture.This is proof to me that there isnt a huge build up of heat under the bonnet and bonnet raisers are in my opinion a complete waste of time.Regards Micky

I found a big difference in tempratures after i fitted them, the temp gauge used to sit just under the half way mark now it never goes above the quarter mark.

These reading were taken in the summer when it was scorching, so i would say they do serve a purpose

i been told that they really make a diffence but mine will arrive on tuesday/wednesday so i let u lot no.

they easy to install

Piss easy, just 4 bolts then make sure the bonnet is sitting straight

just got mine from autospecalist.. 30 quid plus 5 for postage...
fit them on the car but the weather has been so poor that i probly wont end up driving her now for ages....
