weak spark

hiya guys
What will cause a week spark i have rechardged my battery and cleaned the plug with sandpaper the car wont start now realy bugging me thanks in advance for any tips Paul.

could be the hall sensor in the distributor,quite common that they go with age

check the electrodes in the dizzy cap to make sure they are not all caked up or have broken down
