forgot how to test if the box has a lsd, i had a ib5 box installed the other week and asked them to include the lsd in the ib5 box
is there a way of testing with both wheels jacked up and turning one and the other side turns aswell
i engaged 1st gear, jacked up, and turned the passengers side wheel and the drivers side did turn aswell, but not in netruel,
have i been ripped off?

same here
my rs box gave up (deffo lsd) they go same way when in nuetral
i fitted a xr2 box in its place and they go opposite ways
if u do have a shaft out then u look thru the diff and if u see a hole its non lsd, if u see a shaft running across the hole then its lsd

it drives ok, think it needs a cv joint on the drivers side, but everything else is new!
it does pull to the side when the boost spikes! though, but it always done that!
in 1st gear the other wheel went in the opposite direction

In neutral mine rotate the same way, in gear opposite ways.
A torque biasing diff may not rotate the other wheel in neutral as it relies upon torque (obviously)

You all sound so confusing with the opposite/same rotation discussion. Just jack up one wheel and select neutral. Then rotate the wheel. You cna deffo feel the difference. With a normal diff you can give the wheel more and more speed whereas with a LSD you can only rotate it very slowly at ~3s per revolution max.
