Default head depth

what was the original depth of the head because i wnat to know how much has been skimmed of of the 1 i own

im not sure, but that will only give u a very rough idea. You need to cc it really.

How do you measure the depth if its still on the block?

u dont necessarily have to skim it just because it's been off. Only if it's lifted. Just get a straight edge on it, if its a couple of thou, its fine.

Ford state that cylinder head should have a minimum combustion chamber depth of 19.60 mm.
