Default deflex bushes

any body got pics of the rear end of a escort rs turbo bushed up
i tried sizing up the tie bar to stub axle bush and it doesn't feel a snug fit
do these just sit in place then all bolted up or do they need to be pressed coz they just dont seem to sit very good as if they dont go right in and sit perfect
any pics would be great

As a word of warning, the bushes that go the outer ends of the wishbone are really badly supported in the wishbone. The originals had a metal outer tube and were fine, but the deflex bushes only sit in a ~5mm wide ring in the wishbone. To overcome this I at least welded some more tube to the wishbone to better support the bushes. People who have not done this have reported problems.

In this particular point the deflex bushes appear softer than new standard ones and don't last very long. I wish I had a picture, but when you put the deflex bush into the wishbone it's evident.

This means that they must have changed the bush dimensions as well.

Superflex come with a stainless sleeve which you press into place to support the bushes. It's a bit of a job to do, but with a press and a dremel you can get the old stuff out and the new in.
